How does the AI categorization work?+
When you log an entry in plain English (e.g. “wrote newsletter for 90 minutes”), Journavibe sends your text to OpenAI's API. The AI extracts the duration, assigns a category (Deep Work, Client, Admin, Learning, Meeting, or Other), and saves the structured entry. The whole process takes under a second. If a category is wrong, you can edit the entry to correct it.
How do I export my time data?+
From the main app view, click the Export button in the top-right corner. Your entries will be downloaded as a CSV file containing the timestamp, description, duration, and category for every entry. There is no limit on how many times you can export, and you can export at any time. The export covers all entries in your account — there is no date filter on export yet (coming soon).
How does the Pomodoro timer work?+
The built-in Pomodoro timer in Journavibe runs a 25-minute focus session. When you start a session, you enter a short label for the task you're about to work on (e.g. “writing client report”). When the 25 minutes complete, a time entry is automatically saved with that label and a 25-minute duration — no manual logging required. The AI then categorizes the entry based on the label you provided at the start.
How do I delete my account and all my data?+
Account deletion is handled via email request while self-serve deletion is in development. Send an email to privacy@journavibe.app with the subject “Delete my account” from the email address associated with your account.
All your entries, account data, and any stored preferences will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This action is irreversible — export your data first if you need a record.
Is my time entry data private?+
Yes. Your time entries are stored in Supabase and are visible only to you — no other user can access them. When an entry is processed by the AI, the text is sent to OpenAI's API for categorization. OpenAI does not use your data to train models via the API. We never sell your data or share it with third parties beyond the sub-processors (Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe) necessary to operate the service. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Can I edit or delete individual time entries?+
Yes. Each entry in the timeline has an edit option that lets you change the description, duration, or category. You can also delete individual entries. Changes take effect immediately. Deleted entries cannot be recovered, so export your data first if you need a backup.
What formats does duration recognition support?+
Journavibe's AI understands a wide range of duration formats in natural language:

If no duration is mentioned, the entry is saved without a duration. You can edit it to add one afterwards.
